I. W. Ashner Victim Of Heart Attack

Irving William Ashner, lifelong Memphian, died Saturday afternoon at Baptist Hospital following a heart attack. He was 61 years of age.

Mr. Ashner had lived here all of his life and was the owner of I. W. Ashner Real Estate Company in the Commerce Title building for the past fifteen years. He was formerly with Dave Dermon Company.

Surviving are his wife, the former Miss Bess Goodman, of Memphis; a daughter, Mrs. Edward Magnus, of Memphis; a son, Ben Goodman Ashner, student at Vanderbilt University; a sister, Mrs. Alphonse Meyer and two grandchildren, all of Memphis.

Services were held Sunday afternoon with Dr. James A. Wax officiating. Interment was in Temple Israel Cemetery.
