Mrs. Morris N. Baer Succumbs

Mrs. Dora Mogy Baer, wife of Morris N. Baer, of Hughes, Ark., died Tuesday morning at Baptist Hospital after a year’s illness.

Mrs. Baer was born in Russia 54 years ago and came to Memphis as a child. She made her home here until her marriage in 1940 when she moved to Hughes, Ark.

Mrs. Baer was a member of Anshei Sphard Congregation and was active in B’nai B’rith Women and the American Legion Auxiliary at Hughes.

Surviving besides her husband are four brothers, Sam Mogy, Marcus Moby, and Abe Mogy, all of Memphis, and Ben Mogy, of Chicago.

Rabbi Morton Baum officiated at services held Tuesday afternoon. Interment was in Anshei Sphard Cemetery.
