Mrs. Anna Bass Dies

 

   Mrs. Anna Bass, of 112 North Claybrook, died Saturday afternoon at Methodist Hospital after an illness of several years.

   Mrs. Bass was born in Lithuania 84 years ago and come here 68 years ago.  Her husband, Robert Bass, died in 1946.

   Mrs. Bass was a member of Anshei Sphard Congregation.

   Services conducted by Rabbi Morton Baum were held Sunday afternoon.  Interment was in Anshei Sphard Cemetery.

   Surviving are her three daughters, Miss Hattie Bass, Mrs. Leo Seligman and Mrs. Gregory H. Gutman; a son Dr. A. A. Bass; a sister, Mrs. J. Kaplan, a brother, Jake Levine, four grandchildren and a great-granddaughter, all of Memphis.
