Mrs. Bodenheimer Passes Away

Mrs. Hattie Goldbaum Bodenheimer, widow of Mace Bodenheimer who died here in 1929, died Tuesday evening at Methodist Hospital.

Mrs. Bodenheimer was a lifelong Memphian, who was born here 82 years ago, the daughter of the late Hannah and Solomon Goldbaum, of Memphis. She had worked for many years at Temple Israel, of which she was a member. She also was a member of the Temple Israel Sisterhood, Salon Circle, the Anna Paul Club, and the Over 50 Club at Memphis Jewish Community Center.

Surviving are her two sons, Edwin Bodenheimer and June S. Bodenheimer, both of Memphis, and her two daughters, Mrs. Arthur Summerfield, of Memphis; and Mrs. Felix Mendel, of Birmingham, three grandchildren, Mrs. Ira J. Lechton, Chicago, Ill., Arthur Summerfield, Jr., and Julia Ann Bodenheimer, Memphis and one great-grandchild.

Services were held Thursday morning with the Rev. Dr. Harry W. Ettelson and Dr. James A. Wax officiating. Interment was in Temple Israel Cemetery.
