Dr. Hyman Bronstein Succumbs
Dr. Hyman M.
Bronstein, D.D.S., who retired 20 years ago from the active practice of
dentistry, passed away after three weeks illness Saturday at Kennedy Veterans
Hospital.
Dr. Bronstein was
born in Memphis 62 years ago and attended the
old Market Street
School and graduated from Old Memphis
High School. He received his dental degree from the
University of Pennsylvania School of Dentistry. He was a lieutenant in the Army Dental Corps
during World War I and was a member of the American Legion. He was also a member of Temple
Israel and of the Memphis and Shelby County Dental
Society. His home was at 1650 Eastmoreland.
Surviving are his mother, Mrs. Esther Bronstein, his brother, Dr.
Jacob H. Bronstein, both of Memphis.
Services were held
Sunday afternoon with Dr. James A. Wax officiating. Interment was in Temple Israel
Cemetery.
