Mrs. Esther Bronstein Dies

Mrs. Esther Bronstein, Parkview Hotel, wife of the late Sam Bronstein, Memphis merchant, and mother of Dr. Jacob Bronstein, Memphis physician, died at 11:05 Monday night at Memphis Baptist Hospital. She had been ill five weeks. She was 84.

A native of Kiev, Russia, Mrs. Bronstein had lived in Memphis 65 years. She was a member of Baron Hirsch Congregation, the Hadassah and Pioneer Women.

She also leaves her brother, Dave Dermon; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, all of Memphis.

Services were held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Abraham Memorial Chapel in Baron Hirsch Cemetery, Rabbi David Skopp officiated.
