Mrs. A. Greenfield Succumbs
Mrs. Annie Rubin
Greenfield, Memphian for the past thirty years, died Thursday at the home of
her daughter, Mrs. Albert Cohen, 3549 Lilly, following a long illness.
Mrs. Greenfield,
who was 87 years of age, had lived in Washington,
D. C., Grenada, Miss., and Wynne, Ark., before coming to Memphis.
Her husband passed away nine years ago.
Mrs. Greenfield was
a member of Senior Hadassah and B’nai B’rith Women of Memphis.
Surviving, besides
Mrs. Cohen, are two daughters, Mrs. L. Rossman, of Memphis, and Mrs. Abe Klyman, of Collierville, and two sons, Joe Greenfield, of
Nashville, and William Greenfield, of
Shelby, Miss.; eight grandchildren,
eleven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Services were held
Friday morning at Abraham Memorial Chapel with Rabbi Isadore
Goodman officiating. Interment was in Baron Hirsch
Cemetery.
