Gus Haase Dies Following Heart Attack

Gus J. Haase, prominent Memphis realtor, died following a heart attack Sunday morning at this home, 300 Hawthorne.

H., and attended the Universities of Illinois and Texas.

He was a pilot in World War I and though too old to be taken in the armed services during World War II, he volunteered for the Merchant Marine and served on a number of dangerous missions.  He was a member of the Variety Club.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Louise Jones Haase and a son, Charles J. Haase, a student at Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Boston.

Services were held Monday afternoon with interment in Temple Israel Cemetery.
