Mrs. Rachel Kisber

Jackson, Tenn.---Services for Mrs. Rachel Frank Kisber, mother of Jonas Kisber, head of Kisber’s Department Store here, were held Sunday at Temple B’nai Israel, Rabbi Malcolm Cohen officiating. Burial In B’nai Cemetery, Griffin Funeral Home in charge. She was 76.

Mrs. Kisber was stricken with a heart attack and died Friday night while on her way to attend services at the Temple.

She was a native of Russia, moving to this country as a young girl. She was a member of the Temple Sisterhood and the Order of Eastern Star.

Besides her son, she leaves a daughter, Mrs. Louis Mashale of Philadelphia, Pa; a brother, Harry Frank of St. Louis; a sister, Mrs. J. D. Freedman, New Orleans; 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
