Mrs. Sam Klyman Dies
Mrs. Sam Klyman of 1602 Vollintine, who
came to this country 57 years ago from Latvia
and had lived in Memphis since 1919, died at
10:50 Sunday night at Baptist
Hospital after a 11-day illness. She
was 81.
Services were held
at 2 Monday afternoon at National Funeral Home and at 2:30 at Abraham Memorial Chapel. Burial was in Baron Hirsch
Cemetery.
Mrs. Klyman was the widow of a Memphis grocer, with whom she celebrated her
60th wedding anniversary before his death 20 months ago.
She leaves three
sons, Abe B. Klyman of Collierville, Will Klyman of Covington, Tenn., and Joseph Klyman of Memphis; two daughters, Mrs. Minnie K. Brown and Mrs.
Harry Diamond of Memphis;
three grandchildren, Mrs. Sam Richman, Fred Irwin Klyman
and Larry Allan Klyman of Memphis, and a
great-granddaughter; two brothers, Sam Sheft of
Memphis and Albert Sheft of Chicago, and a sister,
Mrs. Anna Jacobs of Philadelphia, Penn.
