Maurice Letaw Succumbs

Maurice Letaw, former owner of Chisca Drug Store, passed away at Baptist Hospital March 14, following a heart attack twenty minutes earlier in his office.

Mr. Letaw owned I-T-S Laboratory with offices in the M & M Building.

He was born in Russia 70 years ago and came to the United States as a boy. He had made his home in Memphis since 1937.

half-sister, Mrs. Jennie Lischolff, of Birmingham and two grandchildren.

He was a member of Temple Israel Congregation. His home was at 2153 Washington.

Dr. James A. Wax officiated at services. Interment was in Temple Israel Cemetery.
