Harry Levenson Dies
Harry Levenson of Robinsonville,
Mississippi died Monday morning at the Baptist Hospital, where he had been a patient
for three months. Mr. Levenson was 64.
Services were held
Tuesday afternoon at the Abraham Memorial Chapel. Burial was in Baron Hirsch
Cemetery.
Born in Wendon, Latvia, Mr. Levenson
came to the United States
in 1913. He was a planter and merchant
in Mississippi and a merchant in Memphis for many
years. He was a merchant in Robinsonville until illness forced him to retire.
He leaves his wife,
Mrs. Shirley Levenson of Memphis,
three daughters, Miss Doreen Ruby Levenson, Mrs.
Harold Weiss of Memphis, Mrs. Jerold A. Mills of
Flint, Mich.,
one son, Phillip Levenson of Memphis, two sisters, Mrs. Anna Zabinsky and Mrs. Pauline Malatzsky;
both of Brooklyn, and three grandchildren.
