Jacob Levine Passes Away

Jacob Levine, uncle of Miss Libby Kaplan, Mrs. Sol Rodbard, Mrs. Joe Blumen, Mrs. Gregory Guttman, Mrs. Leo Seligman, Miss Hattie Bass and Dr. A. A. Bass, all of Memphis, and Mrs. Max Shatten, of Nashville, passed away July 3 at St. Joseph Hospital.

Mr. Levine was born in Europe 73 years ago and was reared in Europe. He came to Memphis 22 years ago when he retired and has made his home with two of his nieces, Miss Libby Kaplan and Mrs. Sol Rodbard, 640 McDavitt.

Services were held Wednesday morning at Katzman Memorial Chapel with Rabbi Nathan Greenblatt officiating. Interment was in Anshei Sphard Cemetery.
