Mrs. Mary Ostrow Succumbs

 

   Mrs. Mary Ostrow, of 4500 Walnut Grove Road, widow of Max Ostrow, passed away Monday afternoon of last week at B’nai B’rith Home after being ill for a year.

   Mrs. Ostrow was born in New York 68 years ago and made her home there until fifteen years ago when she moved to Memphis.  She was a member of Baron Hirsch Congregation.

   Mrs. Ostrow is survived by two sons, Arnold Ostrow, of Memphis, and Alvin Ostrow, of Teaneck, N. J.; three sisters, Mrs. Rose Sachs, and Mrs. Harry Martin, of the Bronx, N. Y. and Mrs. Florence Eisenberg, of Manhattan, N. Y., her brother, Herman Abramson of Brooklyn, N. Y. and four grandchildren.

   Services were held Tuesday afternoon with Rabbi Morton Baum officiating.  Interment was in Flushing, Long Island, N. Y.
