Frank Phillips Succumbs

Services were held Monday afternoon at Abraham Memorial Chapel for Frank Phillips, of 1736 Brown, who died Sunday Morning at Baptist Hospital.

Mr. Phillips was born in Minsk, Russia eighty-one years ago and come to the United States when he was a young man. He operated a mercantile business in Camden, Arkansas, for many years before he retired twenty years ago and moved to Memphis.

Rabbi Isadore Goodman officiated at the services. Interment was in Baron Hirsch Cemetery.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Yedda Lipschtz Phillips; a son, Dr. Sam Phillips, of Little Rock; and three daughters, Mrs. Sam Cooper, or Savannah, Ga., Mrs. Dave Lebovitz and Mrs. Ben Gruber of Memphis.
