Mrs. Louis Price: Merchant’s Wife

Mrs. Sara Kaufman Price, wife of Louis Price, former Yazoo City, Miss., merchant, with whom she moved back to Memphis seven years ago after his retirement, died at 9:10 Monday night at Baptist Hospital. Mrs. Price was taken to the hospital after suffering a heart attack at her home, 21 Patricia Drive. She was 62.

Mrs. Price was born in Memphis. She was a member of Baron Hirsch Congregation and the Hadassah. She and Mr. Price lived in Yazoo City about 10 years.

She leaves, in addition to her husband, two daughters, Mrs. Bernard Fink, of Yazoo City, and Mrs. David Pachter of Greenwood, Miss.; her sister, Mrs. Ida Sebulsky of St. Louis, and five grandchildren.

Services were held at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday at Abraham Memorial Chapel. Burial in Baron Hirsch Cemetery.
