Mrs. Hannah Reisman Succumbs
Mrs. Hannah Reisman, widow of Don Reisman,
died suddenly Sunday evening at her home, 653 North Willett. She had not been well for several years but
was stricken suddenly.
Mrs. Reisman was born in Russia 75 years ago. She came to the United
States and settled in St. Louis in 1910. She lived there about sixteen years before
coming to Memphis
to make her home.
Mrs. Reisman was a member of Anshei Sphard Congregation, of
Senior Hadassah and the Anshei Sphard Ladies Auxiliary.
Surviving are her
two sons, Andrew Reisman and Sam Reisman;
two daughters, Mrs. Morris Kossovitz and Mrs. Zecil Bilsky, four granddaughters
and one grandson, all of Memphis.
Services were held
Monday afternoon at Abraham Memorial Chapel with Rabbi Isadore
Goodman officiating. Interment was at Baron Hirsch
Cemetery.
