Mrs. Seligstein Succumbs
Mrs. Leah Seligstein, co-owner of Seligstein
Paper Co., died Friday evening at Baptist
Hospital after a brief
illness. She was the widow of Sidney S. Seligstein who passed away about two years ago.
Mrs. Seligstein was born in Hamilton,
Ohio, about 57 years ago and had been a
resident of Memphis
for the past 35 years. Her home was at
1916 Mignon.
She was a member of
Temple Israel, Temple Israel Sisterhood and
Regina Lodge No. 19, UOTS.
Surviving are her
daughter, Mrs. Irwin Goldman, a son, Barney Seligstein,
two grandchildren and her sister, Mrs. Will Goldberg, all of Memphis.; and a
brother, Abe Levinson, of Hamilton, Ohio.
Services were held
Sunday morning with Dr. James A. Wax officiating. Interment was in Temple Israel
Cemetery.
