Mrs. Samuel Spindel Dies At Home
Mrs. Rose C. Spindel, wife of Samuel Spindel,
operator of Asher’s Clothing Store, 163 S. Main, died Thursday afternoon at her
home, 375 North Graham.
Mrs. Spindel was born 63 years ago in London,
England and moved to New York City at the age
of 15. She made her home in Jacksonville, Fla.,
for fourteen years before moving here two years ago.
She was a member of
Temple Israel Congregation.
Surviving are her
son, Murray Spindel, of Memphis;
two daughters, Mrs. Al Linden and Miss Arlene Spindel,
of New York City; a brother, Harry Cohen, and a
sister, Mrs. Samuel Weinberg, both of Brooklyn,
N. Y. and one granddaughter. Services
were held in Memphis.
