Meyer Volman Succumbs

Meyer Volman, retired merchant, died Wednesday morning at St. Joseph Hospital after a lengthy illness. He suffered a stroke two years ago.

Mr. Volman was born in Warsaw, Poland 68 years ago and came to the United States and Memphis as a young man. He operated his store at 272 N. Main for some 25 years before his retirement.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Annie Volman, and his son, Sam Volman.

Services were held Thursday morning with Rabbi Judah Rackovsky officiating. Interment was in Beth El Emeth Cemetery.
