Mose J. Vosse Succumbs

 

   Mose J. Vosse, 2002 Felix, died Monday evening at Baptist Hospital, where he had been seriously ill since suffering a stroke on July 23.

   Mr. Vosse, a lifelong Memphian, was 76 years of age.  He operated the old American Theater at Cooper and Union from 1912 to 1918, later working for Wm. R. Moore Dry Goods Company.  He retired three years ago as a dry goods salesman with Standard Textile company.  He was a former Mason and member of Temple Israel.

   Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Beulah Rosenbush Vosse; three sons, Fred M. Vosse, of Chicago and Henry Vosse and M. J. Vosse, both of Memphis; and three grandchildren.

   Services were conducted by Dr. James A. Wax Thursday morning.  Interment was in Temple Israel Cemetery.
