Another Citizen Gone

The reaper Death has again been among us and removed from our midst one of our best and most enterprising citizens. Mr. Jacob Wile died yesterday evening at 6 o’clock of consumption. He was a native of Randagg, Baden Germany, and was in the 50^th year of his age. For twenty-one years he has been a citizen of Paducah, and during that time has been engaged in the dry goods, grocery and other branches of business, and by his upright and honest conduct secured for himself the highest respect and esteem of all classes of citizens. For the past few months he has been confined to his bed, at time suffering most severely.

His funeral will take place from his residence on Oak street tomorrow morning at 10 o’clock. The friends and acquaintances of the family are invited to attend.
