Alfred Yeargin Succumbs

 

   Alfred Yeargin, former Memphian, who had made his home in Birmingham for the past five years, died in a Birmingham hospital April 28.  Services were held in Memphis with Rabbi Isadore Goodman officiating.  Interment was in Baron Hirsch Cemetery.

   Mr. Yeargin, an interior decorator, owned and operated the National Textile Store in Birmingham.  He was born in Russia and came to this country as a young boy.

   Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Sadie Blumenfield Yeargin; a brother, Abe Yeargin of Chicago, and two sisters, Mrs. Anna Garden and Mrs. Sonia Gelfand, of Los Angeles.
