Irving Zitling Succumbs
Irving Zitling, Memphian for the past 18 years, died January 11 at
his home, 6139 Poplar following a heart attack.
Mr. Zitling was manager of the Bon-Air Night
Club on Bristol Highway.
Mr. Zitling was born in New York
64 years ago and made his home there until he moved to Memphis.
He was a member of the Elks, a Shriner and a
member of B’nai B’rith.
Surviving are his
wife, Mrs. Rose Zitling, a son, Paul Zitling of Brooklyn, N. Y., and two daughters, Mrs. Bernice
Statman, of Caldwell, N. J. and Mrs. Lucille Mann, of
New York City; a brother, Louis Zeitlin, of Palm
Beach, Fla. and two sisters, Mrs. Fay Weisburg, and
Mrs. Rose Winston, Of New York City.
Services were held
Friday with Dr. James A. Wax officiating.
